Under a blaze of lights, Ferrari's latest "new car", the 575 GTC, was presented at the Frankfurt Auto Show. It is "new" in the sense that it is the factory's first racing GT made from the "older" street production cars, the 550 and the 575M.
The privateer teams showed that these front engined chassis could be made into winners, and so Ferrari has taken up the challenge as well, and has applied all its depth of engineering skill to come up with a winner.

To call it the Monterey Historic "Weekend" is a bit of an understatement! The festivities start with sumptuous "by invitation only" airport party of Gordon McCall on the Wednesday evening, and run through to the open day at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, southeast of San Francisco, on the following Monday.
